About Nicolas Camargo

I am, first and foremost, a corporate and probate litigation attorney. I also handle estate planning and corporate transactional matters. I began my legal career as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Oakland County, which is about as far from probate litigation as one might possibly imagine. As a prosecutor, I litigated numerous cases, from misdemeanors to felonies, and from criminal matters to family law matters. As important and rewarding as it was helping victims of crime find justice, I knew that when it was time to leave the prosecutor\'s office, I wanted to go in a different direction. Today, my passion remains the same; it is helping families and individuals in our community. However, having left my career as a prosecutor behind, I now focus my law degree on helping people in different ways. Whether it is assisting families in planning for the future with comprehensive and effective estate planning techniques or assisting families with their current needs and disputes, such as the administration of a loved one\'s estate or probate litigation, my passion is to collaboratively work with my clients so as to help them find solutions for their current needs and issues. I also enjoy working with small business owners to successfully protect their hard-earned businesses from legal pitfalls and disputes.
