ABOUT CAMARA JONES

As a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in patient care and women’s health, I have cultivated a robust foundation in both clinical and administrative settings. My journey began as a phlebotomist and medical assistant, where I developed a keen eye for detail and a compassionate approach to patient care. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Maternal and Child Health and a Master of Science in Biology, which have provided me with a deep understanding of the medical and scientific aspects of healthcare. Additionally, my Master of Business Administration equips me with the strategic and managerial skills necessary to excel in healthcare administration. I now hold a healthcare position at Emory University Hospital while I study to become a healthcare provider. My passion is deeply rooted in helping the black and brown communities and advocating for those who may not have a voice of their own. I am driven by the desire to address the significant disparities, particularly in maternal and infant mortality rates, that persist within our community. By leveraging my diverse background and expertise, I seek to contribute towards the resolution of these disparities and other healthcare inequities that affect minority communities.
