A serial biotechnology entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical research industries as an executive, company founder, investor and board member. I am currently President & CEO of Alessa Therapeutics. Alessa is a clinical-stage drug development company pioneering an innovative and proprietary localized drug delivery technology for the early treatment of prostate cancer. I previously served as Co-Founder, President, interim CFO & Board Member of Zentalis Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ZNTL), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering and developing small molecule therapeutics targeting fundamental biological pathways of cancers. I currently serve on the board of directors for Opus Genetics (Nasdaq: IRD), Crosslink Therapeutics, SelectION and UC San Diego Health - Moores Cancer Center. My previous board roles include VelosBio (acquired by Merck for $2.8B), Retrosense Therapeutics (acquired by Allergan for up to $580M), Zentalis Pharma (Nasdaq: ZNTL) and Immusoft.
