ABOUT CALVIN THIGPEN
As Lime\'s Director of Public Partnerships & Policy Research, I lead our collaborations with cities, academics, and other stakeholders to improve micromobility programs, support new innovations, and evaluate the impacts of micromobility. In my previous roles in academia, I studied travel behavior and transportation policy. In particular, much of my research has focused on the how perceptions don\'t always match up with reality - from scooter parking to induced demand. I have extensive experience designing surveys and other data collection instruments and expertise in specifying customized statistical models to answer my research questions.
