About Calvin Fong
I am a fourth year aerospace engineering student at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo who has a strong passion for space. I am further pursuing this passion by working towards a minor in Astronomy. The research that I have done over the past two years regarding developing a systems perspective has given me a newfound understanding of the industry. Writing and publishing two papers for conferences related to this topic bolstered my soft skills that I can take advantage of in professional environments. Additionally, exposure to flight test and evaluation has also allowed me to be able to experience the many stages that go into developing and testing systems from start to finish. I am eager to be able to soak in more information from new experiences and be able to apply my knowledge to make a difference.
