ABOUT CALVIN LEES

A technically gifted and a results driven director of IT who applies a consultative, practical approach to the delivery of various comprehensive technical solutions from design to managed services. Key areas of expertise are within & Out of Hours healthcare services in the UK. I’m currently responsible for IT delivery to users supporting 25% of the UK population by either of these services. All services require to be online 24/7, for critical primary care systems to enable our clinical workforce, to deliver a high level of patient care. I pride myself on outstanding quality of work and documentation standards, using information to improve performance from a technical standpoint, but more so on the end user experience/compute.As well as the above I also look after supplier relationships and the IT budget within the area I’m responsible for. I’m always looking at new and existing technologies to drive change, into current processes alongside staff to facilitate and improve their efficiency at work.Alongside this I like to mentor and bring up skills for staff that work directly or in-directly to me, by improving technical and soft skills. Currently managing a team of consultants, Project Managers, remote engineers and Servicedesk members. I have also managed teams in the past of around twenty technical professionals, both here in the UK and in India, and I have guided them to deliver to the highest standards to our customer base whilst maintaining company’s vendor accreditation\'s and standards. From previous roles as a consultancy manager for a large Managed Service Provider. I have gained vast amount of technical knowledge from data centre design and height available solutions using the cloud and on premise infrastructure. Within this role I designed and developed from scratch the infrastructure design for a pilot for an existing provider, including but not limited to Network, Security, Telephony and Citrix delivery over thin clients.
