About Calvin Fisher

Calvin began his recruiting career as a candidate! He had worked in the golf business immediately after college and was looking for a new opportunity. Little did he know his recruiter was sizing him up for a recruiting role, something Calvin didn’t know much about. As he learned more, he saw that his listening and organizational skills would be a good match for this new career and he hasn’t looked back since.Calvin grew into this new role under the mentorship of Echo co-founder Amit Bhatia. Through their work together, Calvin became a strong relationship builder and even led a division as director of accounting operations. He transitioned into operations permanent placement in 2020 and now is a senior recruiter on the finance and accounting team. Its experienced partnership team and new Echo Edge approach was the impetus for Calvin joining Echo Search Group. He relishes the opportunity to learn from and grow with a team that he respects for both their expertise and others-first mindset. Calvin appreciates that the entire Echo team is committed to making long-term client-candidate placements and continuing partnerships far beyond that initial match.In his free time, Calvin enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He is known as a grillmaster, cooking and smoking delicious food for his family and friends as they play or watch sports. And he still has a strong passion for golf!
