About Calvin Denissen

I have extensive experience in substation design including both the physical aspects and protection and control schemes. I began my career in utilities as a CAD Technician for Realtime Utility Engineers. This experience gave me a large base of knowledge in both AutoCAD and Microstation software as well as the creation of and adherence to client CAD standards.After my experience as a drafter, I went to Milwaukee School of Engineering to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering which I completed in May 2014. This gave me the expertise necessary to become involved in substation projects at a higher level than before.Upon graduation I returned to Realtime Utility Engineers as a design engineer for two years. During this time I developed my skills and gathered knowledge regarding substation design; both physical layouts and protection and control schemes. I also developed my interpersonal skills and learned a lot about working in and leading small teams.
