ABOUT CALVIN COMBS

Calvin is a 2017 graduate of Louisiana Tech University and a 2023 dual graduate of Mississippi College where he earned both his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration with Summa Cum Laude honors. After taking the July 2023 Louisiana Bar Exam, Calvin joined Blanchard Walker.Calvin’s dedication to excellence extended beyond the classroom, as he served as the Internal Vice Chair of the Moot Court Board and as Executive Editor of the Mississippi College Law Review. Calvin competed as an advocate in the ABA Arbitration Competition, the National Moot Court Competition and the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy Competition.Calvin\'s leadership skills are evident through his roles as President of the Mississippi College Chapter of the Student Federal Bar Association and Senator of the Mississippi College Student Bar Association.Prior to his legal career, Calvin served with distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps for six years as a Company Supply Chief, where he honed his organizational and management skills. Calvin was responsible for over worth of company assets and supported the logistical needs of over 160 Marines and Sailor. Calvin is developing his practice around Appellate Advocacy, Commercial Litigation, General Litigation, Insurance Fraud and Suspicious claims, Insurance Law, and Transportation/Trucking. Calvin\'s unique blend of legal acumen, military discipline, and servient leadership positions him as a valuable asset to Blanchard Walker and clients can trust in his dedication to achieving the best outcomes.
