Healyx is developing a medical device to enable doctors in low-income countries to provide Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) to patients with severe wounds. Healyx began in Design for Extreme Affordability, one of Stanford University’s flagship innovation programs, and is supported by ReSurge International, an NGO that provides reconstructive surgical care and builds surgical capacity in developing countries. We are currently working with doctors in Bangladesh and Nepal, and plan on providing our solution to doctors working with low-income patients throughout the world.
