ABOUT CAL ROSETE
Microglia, the brain resident immune cells, are at the front and centre of my research interests! I am curious about how these immune cells contribute to the onset and maintenance of depression symptoms, and how certain epigenetic modifications can modulate their neuroimmune response. I am currently completing a Master\'s degree in Neuroscience under the supervision of Dr. Clare Beasley, with support from the NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarship. Outside of neuroimmunology, I care deeply about safe and accessible streets, public transit, and housing in Vancouver.
