Responsible to deter, detect, and respond to potential or active threats directed at guests, employees, or property. Provides internal and external armed security services throughout the entire property, utilizes the use of force continuum to respond to violent acts or threats, makes quick and accurate judgment calls, spot anomalies to identify potential threats, and applies entry and access control procedures while assuming operational posts throughout the property and maintaining a low profile. Tasked to respond to medical emergencies, fires, riots, explosives, evacuations, abnormal instances, and the detainment and apprehension of aggressive individuals. Trained to react to all types of potential lethal threats such as terrorist acts and active shooters, in addition to a variety of emergencies such as fires, crowd control, riots, demonstrations, evacuations, and daily response scenarios on property. Provides guest service, which may include providing directions, recommendations, and general assistance, within the normal limits of assigned duty while remaining professional, courteous, and maintaining a respectful demeanor and tact in all situations.
