Callum looks after a number of capability development/R&D programmes within Synoptix, focussing on novel or disruptive technologies and working from fundamentals through to product development. Callum also helps support a number of aspects of policy, governance, risk management, and information management within the Technology directorate and the wider company. Currently, Callum is particularly interested in AI technologies, especially Responsible AI, AI Assurance, Assured Capability, and AI Governance; as well as Digital Twins and advanced modelling and simulation. In addition to this role, Callum also supports the development of Synoptix within the Healthcare domain. He is an Incorporated Engineer and holds certification as an AI Management Practitioner.
