About Callum McCance
Passionate about building a sustainable future, I specialize in solar project development, interconnection engineering, and system performance optimization. With over six years in the industry, I’ve worked on residential solar, community solar, and large-scale utility projects, helping bring clean energy solutions to life across North America! My expertise spans PV system design, interconnection applications, performance analysis, and project coordination, ensuring solar installations are efficient, compliant, and financially viable. From designing and modeling 4.5MW of residential solar, to designing SLD\'s and Site Layouts for 90+ community solar projects, to supporting transmission-level developments, I thrive at the intersection of technical problem-solving and strategic project execution.Beyond my technical work, I greatly enjoy the opportunity to collaborate and seek to continuous learn about the ever-evolving solar industry. I am currently studying to get my PMP certificate and my PV Installation Professional certification from NABCEP. I am also reading as much as I can find about the emerging field of Agrovoltaics. Outside of work I am an avid gardener, participate in my weekly knitting group, play in a local band, and enjoy the many of the typical Colorado activities (camping, hiking, skiing, biking)!
