I’m all about deploying the best of what the maritime sector has to offer to the service of British Columbia. Having worked in both public and private sectors, my unique experience ranges from engineering to operations, team building to labour relations, governance models to finance. I\'ve got strong ties throughout the industry with consultants, suppliers & vendors, ship owners & operators, regulators & government decision makers.My passion for ships emerged early in life and led to a Master\'s degree in Naval Architecture at the University of Southampton, UK. I later obtained a Professional Engineering certification and continued with a Master of Business Administration at Royal Roads UniversityFor 20 years, I’ve played a central role in renewing some of the essential ferry fleets in BC. Along the way, I’ve gained a reputation for building high-performing teams that balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
