I have partnered in rapid growth - from $25MM to nearly $ 1Bn and proportionate growth in staff strength and complexity across geographies and across functions - Finance & Risk. My expertise spans across most facets of Finance and Accounts including controllership, corporate finance, financial management, taxation, budgeting and forecasting, analysis and reporting. I am well versed in Operational Risk and Compliance and my expertise includes various risk types including third party, business continuity, financial crimes, technology, data and privacy. I have been involved at risk framework and policy establishment level as also execution, testing and response to exams of US banking regulators. Over the past decade, I have been in various organizational leadership roles and committees.I have a track record of overhauling existing systems and processes and establishing new ones where none exist. Setting up and turning around functions and teams, establishing effective financial management and strong risk culture. Rolling out foundational Risk Management frameworks and processes leveraging Group policies in GBS. On my way to building a strong risk management culture and audit ready processes for the offshore centre.
