About Callie Forrest
I grew up in Humboldt County in northern California. After graduating college, I served as an AmeriCorps member in a college access/success organization. There I coached a cohort of high school students through the college and financial aid application process. The knowledge I gained from my 40 hilarious and hardworking students continues to guide my work every day. Since then I have worked in virtual college advising, human resources, volunteer management, and scholarship program management. Outside of my work I enjoy playing soccer, talking about and consuming pop culture, and tracking down Portland’s best tiramisu.
