ABOUT CALLIE CARPINTERI
Callie Carpinteri is an LA-based writer/director originally from South Florida. Graduating from the University of Florida’s film program in 2022, she was selected as a Scripted Development intern by the prestigious Television Academy Foundation that same year. Last year, Callie co-wrote and directed her first independent short, a coming-of-age comedic drama titled, “Dirty Towel.” As a young, female filmmaker, Callie’s passionate about telling complex, female driven stories that empower women and inspire conversation. She’s also committed to the representation of women both in front of and behind the camera. Callie’s currently looking to develop “Dirty Towel” into a feature film.
