About Callie McKenna
As a policy associate at Advanced Energy United, I work with a team of experts and advocates to promote and advance renewable energy policies, initiatives, and technologies at the state level. On the West Policy Team, I work to further clean energy policies on the state level through direct advocacy, decision maker education, and coalition building, in addition to spreading awareness through blog posts, primers, etc. I am passionate about advancing the mission of Advanced Energy United to accelerate the adoption of clean, affordable, and reliable energy solutions to help states achieve 100% clean energy. I have a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Santa Clara University, where I gained a solid foundation in politics and social justice issues to help prepare me for a future in policy advocacy. I have also honed my skills in public speaking, writing, and Microsoft Office, which I use daily in my work. I am eager to learn from and collaborate with other professionals in the field of renewable energy policy, and to apply my knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on the world.
