Callie Currence (Formerly LeClaire) is a Korean-American screenwriter from Minnesota. Her debut short screenplay, Over and Out, has garnered much recognition over the past few years. Her screenplay has held a spot on the Coverfly Red List, as well as reaching the #1 spot on the Coverfly Short Screenplay list. She has received many awards and nominations, such as a WorldFest-Houston Platinum Remi Award, Film Crash Winner for Dramatic Short Screenplay, Best Short Screenplay from the Reale Film Festival, and Winning Short Script from the Visionfest Screenwriting Competition. Notable accomplishments include being named a finalist in the Shore Scripts Short Film Fund, as well as a finalist in the Rhode Island International Film Festival. Callie has yet to find representation and has hopes of soon becoming a member of the WGA.
