As the Program Manager and Registered Dietitian for CAMBA’s Food and Nutrition Program, I am responsible for all operations and quality standards. Additionally, I manage my own case load of about 25 clients. Our Program offers services for 215+ people living with HIV/AIDS in NYC through weekly self-selected pantry bags, nutrition education groups, 1:1 nutritional counseling sessions, food vouchers, and breakfast/lunch 5-days a week. During my beloved time at CAMBA, I’ve had the opportunity to partner with Downstate Sunny Medical Center, Brooklyn College and Columbia’s Dietetic Programs, Prospect Lefferts Gardens’ Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), New York City Public Health Department, and more. I directly manage our contract with Ryan White and Public Health Solutions, which amounts to roughly year. We are a team of two (2) Registered Dietitians, two (2) Nutritionists, two (2) data specialists, one (1) chef, and rotating Dietetic Interns. I love the opportunity to coordinate access to nutritious, local, and FREE food and nutrition resources for my community members. It brings me great joy to lead a wonderful team of dedicated, passionate, and curious people.
