Sometimes the simplest answer is the most correct one. The journey of the discovery is my favorite part. I am comfortable working in the modern enterprise cloud web stack with over 13 years of experience, spanning multiple industries. I have multiple years of experience with building and maintaining production AWS cloud infrastructure in the media & entertainment and healthcare sectors. With this production experience, I am also familiar with maintaining multiple Kubernetes clusters and ensuring their uptime. Over the years I\'ve assisted with data migrations large and small. I have built environments from zero to production, complete with CI pipelines and environment isolation that scale and are highly-available. I have also migrated entire environments from one aging containerized stack into another, on bare-metal, in and out of the cloud. I also have experience using Istio service mesh in production and all the weirdness that comes with deploying Istio and Envoy. My most recent success story is enabling our org to use service mesh moving us towards zero trust. I thoroughly enjoy taking on the hard things for teams and removing barriers that might get in the way. More often than not, removing these barriers requires automation to \"glue\" the hard parts together.I know enough code to get the job done in various languages. If I do not know the language, I am challenged and look forward to learning it. I generally can pick it up in a few days to be effective. I will never claim to be an expert in any language; however, I am comfortable in Python, most scripting, and declarative languages. Presently, I am learning GoLang.I believe in Infrastructure as code, and GitOps as the source of truth for all live loads even in dev.
