I work on the Amazon Linux OS itself — building and maintaining RPM packages, systemd integration, GRUB/systemd-boot, and OS-level tooling that power EC2 instances worldwide. My recent work includes authoring the official https://github.com/amazonlinux/kiwi-image-descriptions-examples, which enables NitroTPM-backed cryptographic attestation of instance integrity using dm-verity and erofs — giving customers cryptographic proof that their workloads are running unmodified, trusted builds.(https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/attestable-ami.html) I\'ve also been building with LLM agents — designing and presenting internal workshops on using AI agents (kiro-cli with Claude) to automate developer workflows: autonomous RPM package builds, automated build failure diagnosis, and agentic debugging pipelines. Hands-on experience putting AI agents to work on real infrastructure problems. I contribute security fixes and features upstream to the open source projects Amazon Linux depends on, including kiwi-ng (custom partition layout support), OpenJPEG (CVE-20•••••27), and the Fedora SELinux policy. Day-to-day I work deep in Linux internals — CVE remediation, RPM packaging, and supporting VM, EC2, bare metal, and container environments. If it runs on Amazon Linux, I support it.
