I started my professional career at Ernst & Young working in the assurance practice. During my time at the firm, I chose to focus on the real estate and consumer products industries. I helped real estate clients stay in compliance with GAAP requirements, including the proper implementation of lease accounting, revenue recognition, financial statement presentation, etc. Within the consumer products industry I participated in the initial, first year audit, of a fortune 500 issuer. Throughout my time on this client I assisted in the quarterly review and SOX testing/evaluation for internal controls. To further my knowledge in the accounting industry, I attained my CPA license. After developing a keen skillset in accounting and financial statement analysis, I was eager to launch my entrepreneurial journey. I have worked extensively with small business owners, providing bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, standard operating procedure creation, etc. I have helped numerous businesses implement and scale their financial operations within QuickBooks, leveraging third-party integrations to build intuitive financial models. Additionally, my expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, modeling, and formula generation, allows me to deliver precise financial analyses tailored to each business’s needs.
