As a Service Team Leader, I oversee Front-End operations and support our team focused on delivering excellent customer service. I coordinate daily execution across cashier, service desk, and self-checkout areas while ensuring accuracy, smooth workflow, and a positive experience for every customer. I train employees, reinforce Wegmans standards, and help create an environment where employees feel supported and confident in their roles. I also night manage the store, taking responsibility for storewide human and food safety, and store closing procedures. In this role, I work closely with store and department managers to maintain store conditions, uphold food safety practices, and resolve operational issues with customers and employees. This position has strengthened my communication and leadership abilities and expanded my understanding of store operations and customer engagement.
