I currently underwrite new and renewable business specifically within our Construction Casualty group. As an underwriter, I will work on complex accounts across Auto, GL, WC, and lead Umbrella lines of business, as well as Wrap-Ups (CCIPs and OCIPs). This includes Guaranteed Cost and Loss Sensitive account structures. I work to identify and assess risk exposures and recommend casualty coverages to help meet our customer’s specific needs. As a Team Lead, I assist in the development and mentoring of team members. This includes participating in monthly 1:1 discussions, training and resources, fielding questions on coverages, rates, and accounts, among other things.

ABOUT CALEB MCINTOSH
I started my career in 2015 going through the Zurich Underwriting Training Program. Upon successful completion, I was a Construction Property and Inland Marine Underwriter managing various states within the Great Plains. In 2021 I made the move to Aspen Insurance as an Inland Marine Underwriter with a similar underwriting territory. After a year at Aspen, I rejoined Zurich in 2022 as a Construction Casualty Underwriter. I have been fortunate to grow in this role underwriting all casualty lines of business, including guaranteed cost and loss sensitive program structures, project specific and rolling wrap up (OCIP and CCIP) programs, and now I sit as a Team Leader for our KC/St Louis team. I look forward to continued personal and professional growth, expanded roles, and continuing to broaden my network.
