About Caleb McDaniels
A Special Forces (Green Beret) and Infantry veteran with 21 years of experience in global operations. While serving as an Airborne Infantryman, I learned the valuable lessons of security, risk management, teamwork, accountability, and overcoming fear. After earning the prestigious Green Beret, I conducted training and operations in the US, Africa, and in Europe. I learned resource management, the value of accurate and precise communication, humility, mission planning and execution, and the importance of personal development, learning from mistakes, and resilience. As an instructor at the US Army JFK Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS) Senior Leader Course, I cultivated my abilities in communication, curriculum and faculty development, team leadership and management, project management, and collaboration. I was a small group instructor, senior small group instructor, instructor evaluator, curriculum developer, and academic team leader.I then became a Special Forces Intelligence Sergeant, trained in all-source analysis, threat vulnerability assessments, wargaming, and assessing risk at the tactical level. Shortly after I became a sensitive activities operator for 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in the US European theater. I developed a deep appreciation for methodical planning and [appropriately] flexible execution, attention to detail, and time management. I discovered an interest in analyzing operations, doctrine, history, and policy to drive operations. I improved how I communicate to stakeholders to achieve results in challenging environments. I was recognized for my abilities to understand and synthesize the organization’s role and purpose, doctrine, history, policy, and to concisely articulate it to others. I was selected to lead the organization’s training team where I, in collaboration with others, designed, developed, and executed personnel assessments and recruitment/information briefings. My military and civilian education includes:Army Basic, Advanced, and Senior Leader Courses; Special Forces Weapons Sergeant Qualification Course; USAJFKSWCS Instructor Training Course; Instructional Design Course; Faculty Development Course; Instructor Evaluator Course; Special Forces Intelligence Sergeant Course; Advanced Special Operations Techniques Course; and the Special Warfare Training Course.I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Liberty University; a Master of Arts in Global Security Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Intelligence from Johns Hopkins University.
