Reservoir engineer supporting Deepwater Gulf of Mexico (GoM) fields. Add value by finding new well opportunities and perform risk analysis on new or existing projects. Reservoir Simulation, Production Forecasting – History match Gulf of Mexico reservoirs and deliver forecasts using reservoir simulation and IPSM for field development, reserves, well delivery, and business operating plans. Identify and progress new well opportunities in the maturation funnel. Business Plan Forecast Focal Point – Selected by leadership to be the business plan forecasting focal point for the largest operating asset in the Gulf of Mexico for two consecutive years. Collaborated with engineers, technical assurance, and delivered final business plan forecast with leadership approval. PVT Fluid Analysis - Work with vendors to schedule and collect PVT for new and existing wells. Perform QA/QC on PVT reports and generate PVT models in PVTSim for reservoir simulation and IPSM. Waterflood Reservoir Engineering - Lead asset waterflood reviews and utilize material balance and analytical techniques to model performance. Incorporate special core and petrophysical analysis into waterflood evaluations. Work with production engineers to justify injector and producer stimulations and production logs. Pressure Transient Analysis (PTA) – Perform PTAs for both producers and waterflood injector wells. Use PTA results to aid production engineers in establishing well operating envelopes and identifying stimulation opportunities.
