If you could live at any time in the world, when would you choose? Despite the chaos of 2026, I would choose right now! It is such an exciting time to be a student. We are real-time witnessing a massive shift in how business operates, and I am focused on mastering the skills that will be the differentiators in the future. I am a Junior in the BYU Finance Program (graduating April 2027) with a deep interest in credit analysis, risk management, and the intersection of law and technology.What I’m up to at BYU- Case Competitions: I’ve competed in 7 competitions in an effort to apply my classroom learnings to the real world. Highlights include taking 1st Place in the Marriott Case Competition and 3rd in the Leland x Ballard Center Case- AI Leadership: As Co-President of the AI in Finance society, I explore how LLMs and automation are reshaping investment strategy and risk assessment. I won 1st Place in the 2026 BYU x MindStudio Hackathon by building a high value AI automation- Legal Foundation: I serve in the presidency of the Pre-Law Student Association and am a member of BYU’s inaugural Mock Trial team. I’m fascinated by how the law influences business strategy and how it will adapt to the AI era.My goal is to attend law school, using my background in finance and AI to navigate the increasingly complex regulatory and financial landscape. I am also interested in seeing how laws will change in response to AI and what we can do to ensure prosperity for all in a very different economic reality. Outside of school, I love reading, especially sci-fi. I\'m always down to talk futurism, Isaac Asimov or the Three-Body Problem series. I play tennis and pickleball, and also enjoy running.
