About Caleb Carson

I am senior, Operations/ Supply Chain Business Analysis major at Grove City College in Pennsylvania, USA. During the summer of 2021 I had a Project Management internship with Morgan Truck Body in Morgantown, PA. This experience was great for me because I was able to learn an abundance of cross-functional business knowledge that I will be able to take into future careers. Additionally, I had the privilege of learning the more practical side of project management, as well as the skills necessary to make a good project manager - specifically in terms of communication and organization. At my internship, my department entrusted me with organizing and facilitating cross functional meetings for various capital expenditure and strategy projects. On top of this, I was able to take on the role of project analyst, as I researched and developed a business case for future strategic initiatives. This required the determination and study of labor and automation savings to build ROI calculations. In December of 2021, I had the opportunity to continue working with Morgan Truck Body as a Project Coordinator on a part-time, remote basis and continue doing the same work with additional responsibility as I had during my internship experience with the company. All around this has been a great experience, and I am very excited to pursue a future role related to operations, or project management. Looking into the future, I have big plans as I navigate my senior year and prepare for my business career, as well as personal life. I plan to get married in the summer of 2022, and my future wife and I intend to pursue work in Yantai, Shandong, China. That being said, I will be mostly pursuing fully remote opportunities that can accommodate a self-driven and hardworking individual in a place that is potentially far away from a corporate headquarters. However, should a role open up in China that is in person I\'d happily consider that option as well. Please reach out with advice, leads, or questions about my future!
