ABOUT GAVIN CALDWELL

A motivating and engaging leader, Gavin has worked in compliance, risk and controls for over 24 years and relishes being part of the global community fighting against financial crime. He has a wide breadth of experience across industries and domains, from large enterprises to niche businesses and in both in-house roles and as a consultant. This, combined with a strong attention to detail and a rigorous commitment to high standards, allows Gavin to add tremendous value to organisations as they seek to improve their effectiveness, efficiency or regulatory compliance. Having worked in Compliance and Financial Crime since 2014, Gavin uses the experience gained from the biggest financial crime transformation programmes in history to help clients shape their financial crime frameworks. Gavin’s Compliance experience has been across second and third lines of defence, including Section 166 Reviews on behalf of the FCA. He has also authored articles published in the International Compliance Association’s quarterly magazine. Gavin is an experienced team leader and focuses on implementing methodologies and ways of working that allow teams to deliver to the best of their ability. His consultancy experience and innovative mind-set enables him to find and implement the right solutions to challenging problems. He has a highly analytical and detailed approach combined with the ability to think strategically.
