ABOUT CAITLYN KIRKPATRICK
I\'m a graduate student at Queen\'s University doing a Master’s of Biomedical Informatics in Dr. Louise Winn\'s Lab. My research focuses on analyzing developmental toxicology data using Linear Mixed-Effects Models to investigate how intra-litter variables influence growth and developmental outcomes in relation to toxicant exposures, specifically Benzene and Valproic Acid. I am really interested in pharmaceutical and drug development as well as biotechnology and machine learning applications in research. From my undergraduate degree in Life Sciences Specialization in Drug Development and Human Toxicology, I hope to incorporate my recently expanded skillset to these areas in industry and research.
