About Caitlyn Hall

I am a first-generation undergraduate student in my fourth year at Lehigh University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Journalism. I am passionate about journalism and utilizing it as a tool to discuss our political climate. As a Managing Editor of Editorial Content for Lehigh\'s student-led newspaper, The Brown and White, I help oversee the production and quality of the paper in its entirety. This role entails editing articles, managing a team of 100+ reporters, editors and specialists, finalizing print and web content, and leading the paper alongside the editor in chief. I have worked as a news reporter for this publication since my second semester at Lehigh in 2022 and as an editor since 2023. I previously served as a Press Intern for the nonprofit nonpartisan organization, the Partnership for Public Service, whose mission is to build a better government and stronger democracy. Located in Washington D.C, I spent five months pursuing my studies at American University while working alongside experienced staff members in the press field and renowned leaders in the federal government. Following my anticipated graduation in May 2025, I plan to combine my passion for journalism and political science in my career. I welcome the opportunity to make and build meaningful connections.
