About Caitlin Burton
I’ve been at Google for 8.5 years and spent the last 5 years as a program manager leading operations for the Google Photos privacy team (2 years) and the Google Hardware privacy team (3 years). I love figuring out how my teams can deliver work faster without compromising quality by focusing on tooling and process improvements. Working on privacy teams has given me the opportunity to collaborate with legal, product, regulatory, marketing, PR, and comms and I love work that allows me to bring different teams together to solve problems. It has also allowed me to spend a lot of time working on software and hardware launch cycles and managing programs driven by privacy regulations.I’m currently studying to become a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
