We all want to connect with others in inspiring ways that build meaning and value. There are many opportunities, using a mindful approach to XR and storytelling, to do this with impact.I\'m an author, keynote speaker, and VR experience designer and developer. Curiosity-driven, I actively incorporate research in creativity, neuroscience, design thinking, technology, communication and media to promote compassionate, empathetic connections at local and global scale. My organization MindWise focuses on creating experiences that increase awareness, emotional intelligence and breakthrough ways to collaborate and express human ingenuity. My 2019 book,\"Mindful by Design,\" relates to curiosity-driven learning, designer mindset, innovation, emotional intelligence, and adaptive resilience. I authored \"Designing Wonder: Leading Transformative Experiences in VR\" in 2020, helping integrate best design practices into social virtual reality that amplifies wonder and awe.
