About Caitlin Hartung

I am a Senior Product Designer at Cox Automotive, where I have the pleasure of creating user-friendly experiences for automotive dealers looking to improve their businesses using vAuto. I\'m currently pioneering ways to work with AI as a UX professional working with Product and Development. I\'m always looking to learn and grow and have had a lot of chances to do that at Cox Automotive. I have worked on internal applications used by Manheim employees, was part of modernizing and improving Central Dispatch (which connects carriers and shippers looking to transport vehicles across the USA), and recently, I transferred to the vAuto team in Austin, where I now have the opportunity to collaborate with teammates in person. I love working with product, engineering, and our business partners to strategically approach each unique product and problem with curiosity and the goal of making it useful and easy to use by our consumers. Relationship building is something I\'m passionate about because it makes the work environment so much better. Collaboration is vital to building and realizing solutions to problems. I love what I do because I can utilize my natural curiosity and love of solving problems to help others and build wonderful relationships with coworkers-My first career was in Personal Training. I owned my own business for 12 years, and I liked it, but I wanted more. I wanted to be in an environment that was more collaborative, where I could learn from others and grow as a professional and a person. I wanted a career that excited me-My Interests:I\'m an artistic and creative person. I love music, art, and psychology. I like to learn about people, I am fascinated by the medical and psychological fields and study them in my free time. I\'m a true crime addict. I love pizza. I like joking around and having fun. I also love fitness and am very active. My favorite things to do with friends and family are playing games like Cards Against Humanity and Jackbox. What is the point of life if you’re not laughing?
