About Caitlin Garing
Caitlin Garing is an experienced project manager with a specialty in digital production. She spent 14 years in audiobook production at HarperCollins Publishers where she rose from Editorial Assistant to Associate Publisher. Over the course of her career she oversaw the tripling of its production pipeline, doubled its staff size, helped set up the Harlequin Audio production pipeline, and integrated HMH Audio after the merger.As the HarperAudio department grew, Caitlin built out processes and business relationships so that all aspects of the pipeline were scalable without sacrificing quality. She also liaised closely with authors and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the audiobook’s success. While under her leadership HarperAudio brought home numerous Audie Awards, Odyssey Awards, and even a Grammy.In addition to leading the department Caitlin is an award-winning producer and director. She has produced well over audiobooks herself. She has won 11 Audie Awards, 1 Odyssey Award, and 4 Odyssey Honor Awards. Many of the award-winning titles she also directed.
