I founded my own tutoring business while studying Translation Studies at Royal Holloway, University of London, and have continued to run it alongside my full-time career. I provide both online and in-person tutoring, helping students of different ages and abilities build confidence and achieve their goals.I manage every aspect of the business - from marketing and client communications to lesson planning and delivery. This includes creating and promoting content on social media, designing videos and materials to attract new clients, and building a strong reputation through word of mouth and positive reviews.I work closely with parents and students to tailor lessons to individual learning styles, set clear progress goals, and track improvement over time. Running the business has strengthened my skills in organisation, communication, and relationship management, as well as adaptability - particularly when transitioning to fully online teaching during the pandemic.
