   Pioneering Data Scientist at EPES Logistics focused on building machine learning solutions for logistics pain points. As an IC on an intimate team in a relatively intimate company, I\'ve become a \"full-stack\" data scientist, responsible for ML development (conception, data sourcing, data wrangling, ML experimentation, ML validation) through to deployment in production environments. As an owner of the systems I\'ve engineered, I monitor them to track performance, find opportunities to improve them, and take initiative on implementing enhancements. Key Achievements- Developed a truckload freight costing model customized to our company\'s business-from scratch- achieving a 5% overall improvement in accuracy compared to the leading industry truckload rate index provider- Deployed model to Production, where it\'s capable of serving predictions in both API and UI formats.
