Immediately after graduating college I started my insurance career at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts where I worked for 7 years in both Service and Sales. My last position at BCBSMA was as an Account Service Consultant on the National/Major team handling large clients of lives and above. I then transitioned to a brokerage firm Partners Benefit Group under the parent company CBA for over 2 years working as both a Client Advocate and then Account Manager. My primary responsibilities within these roles were to act as the primary point of contact for my book of business of approximately 75 clients between 10 to 100 lives enrolled with Medical, Dental, and Life & Disability coverage in place. I also handled the renewal process, provided clients with claims analysis, mid-year review materials, and pre-renewal meetings throughout the year while also assisting with claims, benefit, billing, and any other service issues. From PBG I then moved to another broker agency Axial Benefits Group where I managed a book of business of approximately 35 clients between 5 to 500 lives offering various lines of employer sponsored coverage. I also ran the implementation, quoting, and service questions for larger clients from 500 to lives that participated in The Staffing Exchange.Currently I am a National Account Manager at EyeMed Vision Care located locally in Massachusetts and managing clients ranging in size from to lives in the Northeast region spanning from Maine down to New York.
