   USAID was the premier international development agency that addressed global inequality, improving the lives of millions of people through programs in public health, disaster relief, economic development, and conflict prevention, among others. I broadened inclusive development and more prosperous societies through my work in the Bureau for Africa under USAID/Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Malawi initiatives. My contributions included-Advising on geopolitical trends, crafting U.S. public policy and strategic messaging for multilateral negotiations, Congressional briefings, and institutional events such as G20, UNGA, APEC, IMF meetings, etc-Leading stakeholder engagement with regional governments, private sector, and civil society, aligning U.S. foreign assistance with national security and development goals-Monitoring legislative and regulatory trends and leading bipartisan Congressional briefings, securing over $500M in support for programming in health, food security, climate, change and energy, conflict mitigation and stabilization-Developing inter-agency communications, coordinating policy and programming, and leading key work streams under initiatives such as the Global Fragility Act, Power Africa, Prosper Africa, Feed the Future, PEPFAR, The President\'s Malaria Initiative (PMI), etc; advancing digital and economic inclusion, reducing the spread of communicable diseases, and promoting American democratic values abroad-Providing expert guidance on regulatory frameworks, impacting $360M in investment flows in Zimbabwe.
