Responsible for producing and planning 50+ meetings and events annually. Oversee all aspects of the Society\'s operations including property management and renovation of our historic buildings, front desk, shipping and receiving, and warehouse/inventory management. Dedicated to corporate culture building and cross-departmental coordination.Meetings and Events produced annually include:o The Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (Regeneron ISEF)- the world’s largest science fair competition, with an annual attendance of nearly people from 80 countries.o The Regeneron Science Talent Search (Regeneron STS) –the oldest and most prestigious science competition for high school seniors in the United Stateso Broadcom MASTERS, which brings 30 award-winning middle school students and their parents to Washington DC for a week of competition.• Teacher conferences, site visits, board meetings, committee meetings, alumni events, and staff social and teambuilding events Responsibilities include:• Exceed expectations of corporate sponsors and liaise with their executive teams• Cultivate relationships throughout the science community, including face-to-face meetings with Nobel Laureates• Manage $7 million in budgets annually • Bid and site all host cities and venues• Bid and manage convention center, decorator, transportation and catering contracts• Coordinate crisis planning and manage security consultants and personnel• Negotiate hotel contracts and manage room blocks ranging from 10 to 13,500 room nights• Build, manage, and mobilize volunteer local arrangements committees in support of ISEF• Collaborate with production companies to produce award ceremonies and keynotes
