About Caitlin Feurey
My work centers on getting diverse partners to the table around shared goals: faith leaders and gender equality advocates, entertainers and health policymakers, high-level political leaders and community organizers.Over my 15 years in global health and development, I’ve focused on building coalitions behind community-designed solutions, especially on divisive social issues where progress depends on finding common ground. The key questions that guide me are: who has the credibility and commitment to move things in their community, and how do we create the conditions for them to lead?From there it’s about connecting the dots between what partners know on the ground and the evidence that builds leadership confidence in an approach, between local priorities and funder interests, between people who don’t always share a table but are working toward the same thing.My portfolios have spanned gender equality, health, and social norms change across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. The through-line has been the same: build a deep understanding of a range of stakeholder perspectives, co-design solutions around shared interests rather than predetermined positions, and protect communities\' agency through execution.When it works, everyone claims ownership of the results.
