   Oversees all strategic operations of 21 multispecialty practices across Brooklyn with 60 providers and 350 staff members from managing the budget, monitoring financial reporting, leading physician contracting reviews and renewals, EMR implementation, supply chain and more to ensure efficiency and productivity in all areas. • Reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer and interacts regularly with the C-Suite team including the CEO and Maimonides Board of Directors to provide status updates and present on initiatives and future goals for greater alignment in key areas such as financial optimization and quality patient care • Develops and renews physician contracts including setting base and incentive compensation ensuring they are within national benchmarks and fair market value • Collaborates with fiscal affairs and finance departments in the development and preparation of annual budget, revenues, operating expenses and capital expenditures. • Manages an overall budget of $24million and implements and complies with fiscal policies and reporting procedures in accordance with the Medical Center’s guidelines. • Reviews and establishes overall operating processes, standards, metrics, and policies, with input from all key stakeholders including patients, in order to create an integrated network that more closely aligns with Maimonides Medical Center’s mission, vision and strategic goals • Develops an efficient, effective and positive collaborative relationship between 25 community practices physicians and staff with Medical Center staff and Faculty and works to reorganize community practices as necessary to maximize efficiency in financial and operational alignment with the larger health system • Oversees the migration of practices to a common EMR/PM system and billing platform from the 21 different scheduling, registration and EMR systems, 11 practices on paper and 20 billing companies that exist today.
