ABOUT CAITLIN COTTER

As a global health epidemiologist and One Health veterinarian dedicated to sustainable capacity-building and collaboration, I build and encourage equitable global health research partnerships focused on ethics, science, and human rights. I work in One Health systems at the human-animal-environmental interface, and my public health research surrounds zoonotic, emerging, and vector-borne diseases with animal reservoirs in Latin America. I have successfully guided highly motivated, forward-thinking, and effective teams in federal, state, NGO, and academic settings, and my research interests include climate change and public health, tropical medical epidemiology, and emerging infectious disease preparedness and response. I am fluent in Spanish and have worked globally in Morocco, Ireland, American Samoa, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia.
