About Caitlin Bergstrom

Hello! I\'m a science and climate policy professional with a passion for finding tangible solutions to the climate crisis. With 10 years of demonstrated experience working in grassroots & member engagement and government affairs, I have spent my career working to make science more accessible to the public and policymakers. I also am an mentor, working with dozens of scientists and students interested in careers in science policy politics. I\'m skilled in policy analysis, the regulatory process, and science communication. I hold a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Sciences and Biology from University of Wisconsin-Madison and am working on a certificate in Environmental Data Science from the Yale School of the Environment.

   Manage AGU\'s online advocacy platform, helping our members stay informed on relevant policy issues on Capitol Hill and engage with their legislators, including writing campaign and email copy, tracking engagement analytics, and responding to member inquires. Engaging and educating AGU\'s community through various policy trainings (online and in-person), including Introductions to Congress, How to Talk to Policymakers, Advocacy 101, Storytelling for Policymakers, and more.
