The Bentley Investment Group (BIG) is a student organization that is responsible for managing a portion of Bentley University\'s endowment. The fund originated in 1997, with an original allocation of $250K and has grown to more than $2.5M AUM under the group\'s financial decisions. Today BIG is one of the largest Student Managed Investment Funds (SMIF) in the nation by membership size with over 1,600 registered members on Campus Groups and more than 60 analysts and portfolio managers. BIG seeks to run as a long-only equity fund focusing on investment exposure to intermediate and large capitalization companies allocated across seven industries.
