ABOUT CAILIN WINTERS

As an Event Specialist at Halifax Chamber of Commerce, I am responsible for planning and executing various events that promote the interests and values of the business community in Halifax. I work with a team of professionals to create engaging and memorable experiences for our members, partners, and guests, using innovative and effective marketing strategies and tools. With over eight years of experience in the marketing industry, I have developed a diverse and versatile skill set that includes event planning and management, social media marketing, digital advertising, website content creation, and brand awareness. I successfully managed large-scale marketing campaigns, media plans, and special events for different organizations, including BOYNECLARKE LLP, a leading law firm in Atlantic Canada. I have also collaborated with creative agencies and public relations firms to deliver high-quality and impactful results. I am passionate about event planning, and the execution of interesting and engaging events! I am always looking for opportunities to contribute to the overall success of an organization and to make a positive difference in the community. I have recently started to book my event planning services on a contract by contract basis for a Halifax local event production company. In my spare time, I volunteer as the Director of External Relations on the Enfield Rugby Football Club, as well I am the head coach of the Enfield Rugby Club\'s senior women’s team and the assistant coach of the Hants East Rural High girls team. I share my love of sports and leadership with others through these roles.
