ABOUT CAILEIGH WARD

Hi! I\'m Caileigh. I\'m an event planner. I\'m also a runner. I believe that there are striking parallels in the success of runners and those successful in business. From having the right training program to never losing sight of your goals, I can attribute my success as an event planner and a runner to the following equation: Adaptability + Focus + Teamwork = Success. Adaptability: My success relies on quick thinking and my ability to adapt my strategy and approach to all situations. We work in events; so we all know that a “perfect” event just doesn’t exist. From building detailed run of shows to always having a contingency plan, I always prepare for the worst, hope for the best and leave nothing up to chance. Focus – You can’t fake success in the boardroom or onsite just like you can’t fake a half marathon. Understanding my business partner\'s objectives and staying focused on the big picture is how I am able to consistently deliver results that exceed expectations. I am always challenging myself to learn, improve and grow to be the best version of myself both on the track and in the office. Teamwork – As a collaborator, I believe we win as a team. My running group and my colleagues; they’re my team. I have a strong commitment to team dynamics and knowledge sharing. I am able to provide leadership as well as take direction when appropriate.
