Supporting CAPEX Projects in both Steelmaking and Waste Water Management divisions.Oversee the project teams on their assigned sites to establish the project scope and ensure the job is completed within budget and according to schedule with the three pillars of Sustainability Environmental, Social and Governance. Provide overall management, administrative and technical direction for one or more projects ranging between $500K -$7M.Review initial drawings and project scope and ensure that the project is built in accordance with these documents. Identify and advise the senior management team of potential problems, work interferences or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts. Oversee the tendering of and revision of contracts. Work with Estimator(s) to review project scope, determine budget allocation and participate in the proposal stage - RFQ Oversee the preliminary construction schedule with the Project Superintendent and Team. Oversee and sign off on various reports produced by the Project Team including monthly reports and submittal reports. Enforce company and project policies, main client interface, and responsible for project performance including: budget/costs, schedule, quality and overall project status. Assess potential risks and notify owners on a continuous basis - Risk Analysis Conduct and manage project meetings weekly, bi-weekly or monthly as needed. Assure compliance with project construction schedule and budgets and assume responsibility for the commissioning of the project. Ensure the implementation of a safe work environment and audits throughout the job sites. Ensure comprehensive QA/QC and Project close-out.
